Rosa Maria Gonzales: English teacher and head of the international department in Spain. She is 52 years old and has been an English teacher since 1996. Recently teaching at Neil Armstrong High School in Valdermo, Madrid. The Highschool is a bilingual school and loves working on projects to connect people from all over the world.

Currently coordinator of an etwinning project entitled “Another String on my Bow” where she reunites schools from France, Turkey, Portugal, Italy and Spain.

Interested in new methodologies, helping students with special needs and inclusivity.

TAIWAN

Mia Pei-Hua Wu

Both English teachers at National Douliou Vocational High school of Home Economics and Commerce.

They both have been teaching English since 2014 and 2016 respectively. Mia is the coordinator for online exchange activities and is a speaker on topics including activity design, differentiated insctruction and online exchange activities. Both work really hard into providing students with the best possible outcomes from online meetings with other students from all over the world.

Jimmy Hong-Ji Li

The national Douliou Vocational High school of Home Economics and Commerce teache students of 16 to 18 years old. There are 917 students in total with 30 to 36 students in each program. The programs offered by the school are: Applied English, Child Care, Advertisement and Design, Data processing, and International Commerce.

JAPAN

Momoyo Araki: English teacher in Japan

An english teacher since 23 years, Momoyo is recently teaching at Nagasaki Nanzan high school in Japan. She is passionate about the language and passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.

She has actively been involved in internatoonal exchange programs including online virtual online meetings with schools in different countries, culture box exchanges, and home stay programs. In collaboration with schools in Korea, Italy and France. She has developped a program that transforms virtual exhanges into real-life home stay experiences, allowing students to visit each school every year. these initiatives provide students with valuable opportunities to develop cultural awareness, communication skills, and a deeper understanding of the world.

she believes in the importance of collaborating with educators worldwide to share ideas, discuss challenges, and develop innovative approaches to language education. By promoting international partnerships, Istrive to create enriching experiences that help students become confident, open-minded global citizens.

SOUTH KOREA

Daniel Park: English educator and International Exchange Consultant

Daniel Park is an English teacher at Pungsaen Middle School, South Korea. He is dedicated to connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences. He helps students (ages 14-16) develop communication skills, critical thibking, and a global perspective through English.

He leads international projects across 11 countries, including pen-pal activities, online collaborations, music-related joint projects, peace campaigns, and live Zoom exchanges. Among these he facilitates reciprocal exchange with Japan, Italy, Turkiye and France. There are plans to expand in-person exchanges to more countries.

Additonally he incorporates AI tools into his lessons to enhance English learning. Since 2009 he has been commited to international education and currently serves as a consultant for global exchange programs at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education.
